The first new moon session of the year was held at Sipala as the evenings start to get lighter.
On December 9th we hosted a custom designed Pizza-making workshop for local accountants Essendon which also doubled as their Christmas party. Our former baker son Josh led the pizza making and all the eleven guests got right spirit of it and made some great pizzas which they enjoyed along with games and marshmallow roasting over the fire pit. We loved hosting the team and would be keen to run similar evenings for other local organisations.Read More
On December 6th Sue hosted the third of her Narrative Practice for Coaches workshops and the delegates thoroughly enjoyed the day which became bespoke to their particular interests. This workshop will be run again in 2017 so if you are interested let Sue know and she will add you to the potential participant list.Read More
We were delighted to welcome back the Connor team the week after their first day with us and this time it was a Professional Development session where a number of associates shared their best ideas with the rest of the team. We hosted 12 delegates on the 6th December and look forward to hosting them again in 2017.Read More

With the approach of Christmas Sue and Hannah decided to host a Linocut Workshop on the 20th November to enable guests to make their own Christmas cards to a specific design which they prepared. Hannah led the workshop and the cards were beautifully made - all the guests really appreciated what they had learned during the day.
Also on the 4th November Carly came for her first Full Moon yoga session in the yurt - she had 6 clients for this inaugural and as we got the fire going in the yurt to warm the space up the dramatic full supermoon made its first appearance through the clouds. It came and went during the evening and we were delighted that Carly will now be a regular visitor to Sipala for both Full and New Moon yoga sessions.Read More

We recently welcomed the staff and trustees of the Milton Keynes Community Foundation to an away day at Sipala. Between 15 and 20 members of their team attended during the day as they tackled important issues around their strategic vision.
Sue facilitated the day and led the group through a number of exercises, keeping them on track and on time.

We were thrilled to be able to welcome back the senior management team of the global youth led charity Restless Development for their fourth year's offsite.
Again the weather was terrific and the team was able to get the benefit of all the outdoor spaces at Sipala, use the yurt for a variety of sessions and enjoy meals on the patio.

The seven delegates spent two days at Sipala under the guidance and assessment of the Fields of Learning team, headed by Catherine Doherty and Jill Savage and supported by James & Sue. The delegates demonstrated all the skills and techniques that had been developed and honed over the previous five months.
We were delighted that all seven passed the integration process and are now fully qualified coaches, with the accreditation provided by the Association of Coaching.Read More

The final learning module of the six month NLP Leadership course took place at Sipala with the group building on the next leg of their journey. The course is being run by Catherine Doherty of Fields of Learning and supported by Sue. The final module will be two days integration to demonstrate competence and achieve certification.Read More
The fourth and final learning module of the six month long 2016 course was held at Sipala this week with seven delegates working together on the journey towards their coaching qualification. We were delighted to host the Face to Face team from Worldvision to Sipala on May 17th. The team used the Main Space for most of their sessions and enjoyed the pleasant weather and a homemade lunch.
The team and others from Worldvision will be very welcome to Sipala again!

Sue & Josh hosted a local wealth management firm for a fun away day at Sipala. Twelve members of staff came for the day, starting at lunchtime and thoroughly enjoyed learning about the science of breadmaking followed by putting the learning into action by making flatbread dough, then baking a traditional white loaf. While one half of the group baked with Josh, the others spent time with Sue, doing a team building exercise and enjoying some games, notably the Nail Game and Linkee. Everyone took home a loaf at the end of the day.
