Reflective Practice Workshop using Traditional Stories

Run by Sue Macmillan, narrative practitioner and Hannah McDowall, storyteller
Cost: £120 including lunch.

This is a very personal workshop so there are only 10 places available - please book early to avoid disappointment!

This is an experiential workshop for people working with clients, patients and learners designed to provide space for you to reflect on your own life and practice. Traditional stories relate, in potent images, the things of life that matter. They have travelled on the lips of tellers for thousands of years, teaching the community how to live fully human lives with all the paradox that brings. The mythologists say, the practice of retelling these tales creates new energy, joining our own smaller stories of paradox to the bigger one of the traditional story, like rivers to the sea.
The workshop will offer a gentle opportunity to experience the power of these images for yourself. We will use a traditional story and specially designed activities to ask pertinent questions about our own lives.
