John has spent more than 30 years in the Royal Navy and in the telecommunications industry as a Programme Director, responsible for delivering some of the biggest, time critical, mobile telecommunication programmes in Western Europe. A qualified Mountain Leader, John has now established his own niche outdoor adventure business, introducing families and groups to the adrenalin and excitement of high mountain, river and lake activities in the Pyrenees.
He not only brings his vast experience of the complex leadership and operational pressures demanded in today’s corporate environment, and how to deal with the associated extremes of stress and expectation, but also a deep understanding of how to blend life fulfilment with corporate achievment. In both his personal and business life, John has dealt with challenges, failure and success, and believes the best leaders meet all these imposters with the same attributes of resilience, confidence and humility.
John has a challenging coaching style – delivered with an expectation that each individual wants to achieve his or her maximum potential and is prepared to commit to an ambitious, yet achievable, time-bound plan that enhances self belief, stretches horizons and delivers tangible results.
Jane is an experienced coach and trainer with an expertise in Youth Coaching. She started her working life as a Pharmacy Technician, then stepped aside for several years to bring up her three boys, working as a child minder at the same time, before returning to work in a large General Practice unit in Leicestershire. She subsequently moved into the training of NHS staff including clinicians on clinical IT systems before becoming the Education Training and Deployment Lead at East Midlands Strategic Health Authority. Since the demise of the SHA’s and on taking early retirement, Jane has been able to pursue her dream to help others by becoming a coach.
As well as offering one to one coaching to all age groups, her specialist interest is listening to Young Adults; helping them achieve their full potential to make confident, carefully considered choices in their lives for themselves. Jane volunteers on Project Mackenzie; a programme set up by Aragon Housing Association, The Akabusi Charitable Trust and Construction Gateway to help young adults, not in education employment or training, make a positive lasting impact on their futures.
